I created a private amazon registry for myself because I want the discount. I see that the discount is available to be used on up to two orders. Has anyone used the discount on two orders? I'm about to use it on one order and am so nervous that it won't be available for a second order!

I haven’t done it but i think amazon customer service is great - so you could double check or I’m sure they would fix after the fact if it doesn’t work for some reason.
They also offer a pretty nice free sample box! I am doing the same with a private registry for a few things. All i had to do to get the sample box was check off their checklist (not add anything ... just check each suggested box) and to have ordered at least $10 off the registry. I got a full size muslin blanket and a bandana bib in addition to a lot of useful samples -
I used it on the first and it said after that that I still had a discount available. However, I didn’t realize it expired so I never got to use it!
So watch out for that.

It actually didn't work for me - some sort of known bug that they told me back in November would be resolved by the end of the month - but Amazon customer service ultimately fixed it and I got the second discount...

It worked for me, I used it in Jan and Feb, or maybe March.

I had the same concern! I've used mine once and it still allows me to add discounted items to my cart. My registry also indicates how much more I can purchase before I hit the $2000 limit.
