I did a registry through Amazon.com/mom. We aren't expecting a shower since this is our second, but I wanted the completion discount. Does anyone know how the completion discount works? When should I expect it? How much is it? Will I get an email?

I am using it now for my first but I assume it is the same for subsequent kids. I didn't get an email about the completion discount (unless it went to spam?) At 30 days before my due date though a new line appeared at the top of my registry telling me I could get 10% off items in my registry.
I have read that anything sold by amazon qualifies so I have added a few things and will place a big order this week.

Excellent, thanks @Cole: I'm getting anxious to get all the smaller things we needed that I put on the registry. I just need to stay patient. My nesting instinct is getting the best of me right now.

@MamaG: do you have Amazon mom? If you do then it will be a 15% discount. Note the account used to set up the registry and the Amazon mom account must be the same account.
It's items sold by Amazon and in certain categories. Ie baby, toys, heslth & beauty.
You can click on use my completion discount and a new window will open up that shows which items on your registry will be able to use the discount. Also another hb taught me this trick and I wished I would've remembered to use it. You can add eligible items to your registry, add to cart with the discount then hit Save for later and still get the discount but buy the item at a later date!!

@regberadaisy: I do have Amazon Mom! Yippee. And I just went and looked and see that I put my due date two weeks earlier so I should be able to get my discount next week!
THanks for mentioning health&beauty, there are a few items that I need for LO1 that I'm going to add and take advantage of the discount.

You get a discount page that shows up and you will have one time to use it, so all things you want to use the discount for must be bought at the same time (at least that is how it worked last year).

@MamaG: yup, I totally stocked up on stuff for LO 1. A big sister gift, new humidifiers for both girls room, etc.
