Any ideas on what is appropriate attire for a baby boy to wear to a wedding, and where to find something that's not too pricey? Wedding is at a New England beach resort - no guidance provided on attire, so I assume it will be the standard non-black tie wedding fare...
Also, anyone have thoughts on a dress that's nice enough for a wedding but pulls down easily for breastfeeding?

I am not a fan of babies in suits, so I would look at Janie and Jack or Ralph Lauren for a one piece outfit of some sort.

These were two of my favorite dresses while nursing. In the black or navy I think they can be easily dressed up for a wedding.

For baby you could add suspenders to a shorts or pants/shirt combo which would dress it up and be super cute! I would just make sure his feet are covered or in shoes, bare baby feet at church or events kind of give me anxiety haha.

Also for baby/little kid dressy outfits check out any kids consignment stores. Those outfits are generally only worn a couple of times so they are typically in like new condition.

@Jennibenni: Suspenders are a great idea. And good point about shoes - thank you! He's yet to wear any, so I'm sure we would have shown up and I would have realized too late, eek, my kid should be wearing shoes. Fortunately, we just inherited a bunch of cute ones as hand me downs!

@looch: yesss agree, babies in suits and girl babies in those insane ruffly quinceanera dresses frighten me. they must be so uncomfortable!

@periwinklebee: how old is your baby? I think a baby can wear anything to a wedding. I tried dressy things for my son but he was always happiest in a onesie. How about the onesies that look like a suit

My boys were just ringbearers and we bought shorts with attached suspenders from Jamie and Jack. They wore bow ties and boat shoes and looked adorable! It would have been cute attire for a guest too.
You can always dress him in cotton pants, a collared shirt, with suspenders or a tie.. I don’t think you need to buy him a suit.

I don’t think anyone will/should care if a baby is appropriately dressed for a wedding. Esp pre-walker.
I would do a one piece like @looch: suggested. ESP if they’re in it all day, comfort is most important.
