I'm due May 5th with a baby girl!
There's a full moon tonight & weather changes happening. I've lost my mucus plug and have had pretty regular contractions on and off over the last few days...and a lot of energy today. Crossing my fingers we get to meet our girl soon!

Baby Boy cupcake is due may 2!
On Wednesday I was 3cm and 80%. Got my membranes swept & have been really crampy since. Last night I had 1 min long contractions every 5 mins for about an hour and then nothing! Womp womp. Still working fulltime. Hoping this baby is ready to meet the world!

I can't believe May is finally here (well, in a few hours for me)! How is everyone feeling?
I hit 39 weeks on Sunday and I'm still having contractions that won't stick around...just trying to be patient and wait for baby girl to come when she's ready, which is a lot harder than I thought it would be!

So excited May is finally here! Soooo impatient to meet my son and all the other May babies!
Have my bags all packed and ready to go! Spending tons of time bouncing on my yoga ball and eating pineapple to try to get labor started.

@Mrs. Lovejoy: I had what I THINK was a tiny little bit of my mucous plug when I wiped last night (TMI), and BH contractions have become more noticeable...but who knows. I am convinced our 5/24 baby will be a June baby while DH thinks he will come early. At this point with severe sciatica, he can come whenever...also, I have gained 40+ lbs now, and I am horrified. I am sick of gaining! What about you?

@maybebaby: Ooh I have been watching out for the plug too! that is exciting! Ugh, I'm sorry you are dealing with sciatica, that must be miserable. I have also gained a bit too much weight and am hating it. I know it's necessary, but I just wish I had gained like the minimal amount - ha!
I think I might have had a few contractions today, they are more like little surges in my belly. Slightly painful but very quick. Not sure what they are, but they feel different than BH. I am hoping this 5/22 baby comes before June, too!! That would be wonderful. We're both full term so come on babies!

Baby cupcake has arrived!!! Right on schedule. Charlie was born at 9:15 this am! He was 20.5 inch long and 7lbs 8.5 ozs.

@Mrs. Lovejoy: I'm doing well! So incredibly in love with my little boy
he's a pretty mellow baby, doesn't fuss unless he's hungry or in need of mommy snuggles lol. He's on a pretty good schedule from being in the NICU, so DH and I have an awesome routine down where we both get at least 6 hours of sleep a night, which feels pretty good all in all, I'd say motherhood is treating me well! DH and I have gotten so much closer through everything and I love how involved he is with LO. He is an excellent dad and hugely supportive of me. I don't think I could do this without him!

@septemberlove: wow, that is incredibly encouraging! I'm so happy for you! While I know its good to expect some rough times in the beginning, it is so wonderful to hear the great stories too!
