My toddler has started trending toward a later bedtime, and I'd really love to move it back an hour or so but not sure if it's a losing battle.

Her usual for the last couple of months has been around 8:30. We put her down at 7:45, and she seems to need at least a half hour to roll around in the crib to settle down. She was going down by 7 PM 6 months ago, and then started shifting toward 7:30-8 and now we're at 8:30. Putting her down earlier hasn't helped, she only gets cranky in the crib if she's in there for too long, which is why we finally just adjusted when we put her down. She's always been a low sleep/high wake time kid - she only gets about 9-10 hours every night, and a 2 hour nap - and this later bedtime shift started when she shifted to 1 nap fully, so maybe this is just how she is and I need to deal with it but I'd love an extra hour if I can get it (both for her and for myself).

Any thoughts? "Shut up and deal" is a totally acceptable answer
