I went back to work when LO was almost a year old. We continued with morning, after daycare pickups, and evening nursing sessions. I thought i would have to pump but she was eating enough solids in the day and was content with our other nursing sessions.

I stopped pumping at about a year. I still nurse her and she'll be 2 on Thursday! She was drinking less milk and we transitioned to whole milk, so she'd nurse in the morning & night and middle of the day whole milk (we transitioned with a mix of breast milk and whole milk).

Right now she still nurses at night and occasionally in the mornings.

I quit pumping around 13 months but we nursed through 18 months. She would have gladly kept going but I was only producing enough for morning/night feedings and she couldn't understand why should couldn't have it all day on demand Saturdays and Sundays.

I stopped pumping at a year but we still nurse once in the morning.

I stopped pumping at just about 12 months and have continued to nurse am, pm, and middle of the night-- LO is 17 months olds now. My supply went down a bit after I stopped pumping at work, but it seemed to come back fine a few weeks later.

My last pumping session was the day before his first birthday. I continued nursing him for another month or so afterwards.

I will stop pumping at the end of the this month when LO is about 13 months. I'm actually on my first real week of one pump per day at work. I had a business trip last week where I didn't get many opportunities to pump and I think that helped. We're having some problems transitioning to other milks, but we still nurse in the morning and evenings.

I quit the pump and did cow's milk during the day while she was at school. Then nursed morning and night on weekdays, and before nap on weekends.

I still nurse in the mornings and at bedtime. LO is 12m and we've been on that schedule for 2m now.

i went back to work full time after being home the first year. i started by pumping at lunch, plus nursing morning, after work, and before bed. i quit pumping after about 2 months (hated it). and he also slowly weaned off the after work session. now it is just morning and night and occasionally we will miss one of those or do an afternoon on the weekend.

LO will be 1 on Monday (omg) and I went back to work this week. I haven't been pumping and have been nursing in the morning and before bed. LO is fine with this plan even though I didn't do any weaning beforehand! She drinks a bit of WCM and eats more solids. It's been 3 days and my boobs are slowly getting the memo! I plan to continue the 2 feeds for a while and see when she loses interest.

I stopped a couple weeks before 12 months (had enough freezer stash to get to a year), but kept nursing morning and night until a couple weeks ago, and weaned completely last Friday - he's nearly 18 months old. I was very happy to stop pumping and to switch to cow's milk for his milk during the day!

I went back to work when LO was 7 months in March and am pumping at Bork currently. I'll be off for the summer but when I return to work in September I don't plan to pump. She'll be 13 months then and I'm hoping to continue to BF at least morning and night.

I'm going back to work on May 1, which is exactly one week after DD turns one and I have no intentions of weaning. She nurses 2-3 times a day and it's working for us at the moment.

I quit pumping a few weeks ago. She does get a bottle at bedtime..right now we're using up my freezer stash and I'm working on switching her over to something other than BM for that feed.

Same here, went back to work when LO was 9 months and never pumped. By then he was eating solids at day care during the day, continued evening/night/weekend nursing until DS was 21 months. As your child eats more solids and less milk supply will drop naturally.
