I'm honestly getting sick of media outlets intentionally trying to stir up debate. Not for sake of the public again being able to view breastfeeding as a beautiful natural thing, but just for the sake of controversy. Kind of sickens me really. We're the only country/culture with this issue surrounding breastfeeding.

As for the picture, I personally have no problem with it. If a mom wants to breastfeed longterm (I think they said the boy in the photo is 3 yo), that is her choice and more power to her! Who are we, as outsiders, to judge? We ALL know how hard it can be to be a mom - we get SO MUCH judgment for every little thing we do. How much does it mean when we get support from strangers - it's awesome, right? Why can't we just support other moms, regardless of their decisions. We all know we're all trying to do our best.
