    @ChiCalGoBee: Thanks! ♥
    How are you? I am keeping my FX so hard for you! When is your first appt?

    I did end up buying a thermometer from CVS, but I am not sure its working... my temp has been level many days, which I don't think is right.

    @Mrs.Lilac: I used to use the smiley test and only ever got one day of smiley faces - super short lh surge. And I always counted that day as ovulation day because it coincided with cramps but suspect it was the following day. I got my period exactly 13 days after the smiley. So I have a short ish luteal phase of 11-12 days. But have a healthy 22 month old so it's all good.

    @Crystal: I have a Target one and if I notice getting the same temp twice, I re-do it just to make sure. I don't know if it's the thermometer or me!

    @ChiCalGoBee - This is the picture of the OPK saying negative... It was darker a few hours ago I'm sure.

    @KBEE - it's weird right? Still none the wiser. I haven't 'felt' like I have O'ed as I usually get cramps. feel like it is what it is though. I'm not going to use these tests again though. I want the newer ones again!

    @winniebee: hmm, maybe I'm the same?! I'm hoping it wasn't yesterday as I like to make sure we BD a lot in the two days before. stupid FF. they thought I was going to ovulate on Friday!! grrrr

    Anyone ever tried pineapple in the TWW, ONLY after you ovulate? I found an article. Another thing that seems easy and worth a try...

    @Mrs.Lilac: I would guess you ovulated today or are about to

  10. ChiCalGoBee

    nectarine / 2028 posts

    @Mrs.Lilac: Yep, that definitely looks negative to me. I'm guessing it happened sometime between last night-this morning? Remember the positive OPK means you should BD in the next 24-36 hours, and you've done it twice since then! I'd say you might have caught it at the perfect time:-).

    nectarine / 2028 posts

    @Crystal: Thanks for asking! I'm fine-just nervously waiting for the first big appointment which isn't until the end of next week. Anxiety central!

    BTW-like I said on your thread about BBTs, that's the EXACT SAME PROBLEM I had with my CVS thermometer! It gave me the same temp (97.70) 6 days in a row. They stink! I'd get another one.

    @Mrs.Lilac: I'm having some OPK drama too. I have been testing every day for about a week or so and every test was super light until Monday when things started to get a little darker. I posted a pic at the beginning of this board. After that, the tests were lighter again so I figured I missed the surge with the test, but we still BD on Monday night. So today(Tuesday), I've been testing still and this is what I just got, around 11:45pm. It was after a lot of water and just peeing about an hour before. Maybe I should take it as a positive. Maybe my body is just trying to O and hasn't got there yet, or maybe I missed it already. I swear I felt O pains this morning...maybe I'm just crazy and rambling on. I'm still going to BD every other day anyway.

    Anyone else want to clue me in?

    @winniebee: Thank you!!

    @MrsHansen82: Thanks!! Also, that def looks like a positive and would probably be a bit darker if it wasn't diluted, so def bd! Fingers crossed!

    @MrsHansen82: I think that's positive- I've read that you should go by the darkest part of the line and the left side of the test line is definitely darker

    @MrsHansen82: I am so clueless with those sticks. I am used to the digitalis but that looks like it was positive. Good luck!

    Thanks for all the advise ladies. I'm a bit sad that I ovulated so early as this month as I will probably O early next month when I am away without my DH. If I don't get KU this month we won't be able to try again until May

    @MrsHansen82: looks pretty positive to me!

    @dc yoga bee: congrats!

    I am not fully in yet but some spotting makes me think AF is imminent. I don't know if it will help but i plan on pulling out all the stops this month:

    cutting out coffee for green tea
    accupuncture
    chinese herbs and other suppliments for fertility
    lots of good healthy fats and revamp of my diet
    continued effort to cut way back on nursing
    temping to confirm ovulation

    what else can i do?

    @ChiCalGoBee: I think 97.70 is the default temp on CVS thermometers? @crystal:

  34. LindsayInNY

    bananas / 9229 posts

    @MrsHansen82: My two cents - I think that's almost positive but not quite there. Maybe do another tonight?

  35. ChiCalGoBee

    nectarine / 2028 posts

    @LindsayInNY: yes, but that's what was storing in my memory every day. I took it back and they tried it and said it was broken. Just wanted to let @crystal know in case hers was having the same issue.

    @MrsHansen82: I think you're almost there!!!

    @dcyogabee: woo hoo!!!

  37. LindsayInNY

    bananas / 9229 posts

    @ChiCalGoBee: To retrieve your most recent temp from memory, you have to hold the on/off button for for a bit before it'll display. And when it does, it's only for a quick second or two. I don't rely on the memory feature.

  38. ChiCalGoBee

    nectarine / 2028 posts

    @LindsayInNY: yep, that's what I did-held it for a second or two and 97.70 was the readout. My store tried mine, and others from the same batch, and said they were all faulty.
