I need some shorts for next week. My pre-pregnancy shorts don't fit anymore.
Are Bermuda shorts in or out? I thought they were cute last summer but not sure now.

I see them a lot, mostly on moms. All of the young, child-free girls/women in my area are wearing high-waisted shorts that are so short that I can practically see their labia.

I googled them because I wasn't sure of the style - looks like they cover the knee - I wouldn't wear those
I say long is fine but your knee should show - just my 2 cents

Loft has 6" shorts that are great. They aren't too short but not as long as bermuda is you want a middle ground.

@2littlepumpkins: AE jeans fit me very well and I know what sizes I can buy but I don't like how their Bermuda are fitted this summer.
@Smurfette: Good to know. I looked at jcrew online last night and they have shorts with 3, 4, 5 and 7 inch inseams. On sale, too. -

I wear J. Crew bermudas! They have 3" but they are too short for me and the bermudas are perfect.

@bluestriped bee: Yep. Like, you could see the curve hanging out the bottom of her shorts. I'm pretty sure I saw her vagina. I was walking my dog and trying to get out of there as fast as possible because what the hell.

@junebugsmama: I'm wearing capri jeans right now but I think they were labeled as crop jeans. I'm short so cropped jeans sometimes look too long (like short long pants). Haha. I think of crop being at the ankle and capri pants would be around the calf and bermuda would be at or slightly above the knee.

@2littlepumpkins: I have ones almost just like that I got in my stitch fix box. I like them! I'm really not trendy or fashionable so take that with a grain of salt.

@bluestriped bee: Old Navy has some shorts with a 5" inseam that I like. I'm short and on me they still seem short in a cute way but I never worry that too much anything will show.

Those are the only shorts I wear. Maybe not true Bermuda, but cover mid-thigh.

I see them as the above knee ones. I don't currently own any that I fit in, but I much rather wear those than short shorts!

it all depends on the fit for me. I would wear shorts at any length if the fit was flattering. Having said that all my shorts are above the knee
Those are the only shorts I wear. Maybe not true Bermuda, but cover mid-thigh.
