My throat is killing me! The list of meds I can take for a cold doesn't say anything about Halls cough drops. Does anyone know if they are considered safe during pregnancy?

i remember obsessing about that when i was pregnant with olive. i think i found something that said it was ok. i took them.

I also read something that said they were ok, so I took them... but then I think I heard someone say since then that they're not ok. There's so much conflicting info out there. If you're really worried, just call your doctor's office and ask.

Someone on here told me their doctor recommended ricola because they are all natural instead ofsomething medicated like halls.
Another thing that would really help would be a cup of tea with some honey in it.

Yes, it should not be medicated though.

My doc said cough drops were perfectly safe.

They're on my doctor's list of approved meds. I took them.

I took the halls watermelon ones and my dr said they were fine.

I took Halls cough drops when I was pregnant. It was on a list of safe meds. I tried to take them sparingly and interspersed with sugar free hard candy, since it was more the sucking that helped instead of the methol in the cough drops.

My doctor's list of okay medicine included all cough/throat lozenges.

I just drank lots of honey and lemon in hot water when I had a cough and sore throat and it really soothe my throat and calm down my cough
