We've adopted a really frugal, financially conscious mindset over the last 18 months and I am so glad we decided to change our lifestyle before LO was really old enough to realize it.

I think it would be much harder trying to convince a tween/teenager that you weren't going to be spending money on "frivolous" (depends what you consider frivolous, of course!) purchases.

I also hope to use what we are learning to teach LO about sound financial habits in advance and hope to help her avoid some of the common pitfalls and stress associated with money problems.

Is there any new habits or goals you established before LO or during LOs younger ages that you are excited to pass down to them and not have to change their world in the middle of things?
