We did! LO had a BLAST. We tried the whisk trick and it worked OK. It made it too easy for him to spill the whole bowl over though! It worked better when we just put the egg in the bowl for him and let him "stir" it with the copper wire.
The easter bunny will hide them tomorrow!
I think just inside though. It's calling for rain. BOO.

I'm about to! It'll be my first time dyeing eggs on my own - my last time was probably a good 12 years or so ago with my family. But I feel like I really should for my sons first Easter, even if he isn't helping and has no clue what's going on

Yep! Boiling them now and we'll dye them after LO wakes from her nap! We bought a kit with paint brushes because I think that will be easier for her. Hopefully next year she will be able to understand/have actually dying them

We died some craft eggs yesterday. DS (age 2) was not really into... maybe next year. We are hiding the plastic eggs for tomorrow.

We did- I was very pleasantly surprised by how much she enjoyed it! We let her dunk the eggs in the dye with her fingers, so they got dyed in the process, but whatever. She really was into it (20 months).
Also I'd like to thank this thread for alerting me that I was spelling it "dying" instead of "dyeing". Oops.

And I killed quite a few eggs in the process so either is correct.

@jedeve: I didn't end up dyeing them this year, but my SIL did and we had a ton of coloured eggs at our family breakfast. Lots of fun!
