So I've noticed what I think to be little spots of eczema in Zuma's elbow creases. I don't think it's my diet, but I really can't be sure. I guess it could be baths but she's taken the same baths with the same soap since she was born. No new detergent or lotion. Any other ideas?

Weather? Do you live in an area that gets colder/drier this time of year? J has eczema, but it's very mild in the summer - it's a much bigger problem in the fall/winter (I have the same issue). He's particularly prone to it behind his knees - seems like elbow creases would be similar. We just slather him in Cetaphil lotion and he's okay.

My LOs exzema gets bad in winter! As soon as it starts getting cold it gets bad!! Lots of lotion! Cortisone when it gets bad.

Do you have your heat on? It usually dries up my skin in the winter. I use a ton of lotion this time of year.

A friend just told me about adding vinegar to her sons bath to help with eczema. I'm not sure how much but you could Google. She said it helped a lot.

Fewer baths cleared up DD's eczema.

We use hydrocortisone, it helps a lot.

I hate the idea of fewer baths
They calm her down so much. I guess its a sacrifice i will have to take. That and we have been slathering in this coconut oil vaseline stuff but maybe i need something better.
