I'm going to a bachelorette party this weekend and I'm supposed to bring a gift of underwear for the bride. What's your go to underwear gift? Especially for average/bigger girls (like myself) where you aren't sure of size?
I usually go the edible route for giggles but I moved and I don't know any stores around here.

Something white, pretty but not super sexy, guess on the size and if you're torn between two sizes guess down. Maybe ask a sales clerk for help on sizing, pick somebody in the store for comparison.

Maybe instead of underpants, could you widen the gift "criteria" and get a chemise instead?
I've gotten some of my favorite ones from Target. I feel like they're more forgiving size-wise, and not quite as personal. I'd feel really weird about buying someone something as personal as panties.
ETA: Include a gift receipt just in case the size is off or she just doesn't like it. When in doubt, I'd go with the smaller size. I'd rather receive something too small (meaning that they think I'm smaller than I actually am) than much too big.

The last bachelorette gift I bought was similar to this one:
I guessed on the size and wasn't too worried since it's not as form fitting as some other styles. Luckily I was correct and the bride loved it. Definitely get a gift receipt!

The Hanky Panky thong is sexy but not so risque it's uncomfortable to buy for someone else, and fits one size for sizes 2-12. Some lingerie shops that sell them can personalize them with rhinestones - I've seen them with the bride to be's new monogram, "I <heart> <Groom's initials>", or I believe they sell a generic one that says "Bride" or "Mrs."
