It seems like every pillow in the store is massive and fluffy! But when my 3 year old lays on them her head is at a really uncomfortable angle. She uses a very old, flat one she got from my moms house. Ha.
I need one that'll fit in a standard pillow case, though - just..flat?

We are just using old flat pillows but Ikea does have toddler size ones that are very flat. They sell the right size cases for cheap too but they were not in stock when we were there which is the only reason we are still using old pillows.

We use a regular size pillow case on a toddler/travel size pillow. Just put the pillow in the case sideways and tuck the pillowcase down inside itself. The pillow case ends up being folded in half with pillow tucked inside one of the sides. I bought the pillow on Amazon, but you can get the same size at Joann's and probably other fabric/sewing stores.

I got ours from Ikea. It's very flat. I just bought the matching case but I guess you could fold down a regular pillow case, as mentioned above.

We are still using a pillow pet pillow for this reason. LO is 4.5 and we have had it 2 years!

My DDs have these and they are amazing. It is inspiring me to buy myself better pillows! 
They're smaller than standard pillows, but in a pinch I put them in a standard case and fold it over.
