Three pairs of my Gap leggings failed this week. I’m in need of more leggings.
I have Sperry leggings and LolaRue which are both fine.
I don’t love more athletic ones like Zella- I’m looking for cotton or mostly cotton.
I wear leggings pretty much 7 days a week and I sleep in them.
What are your favorite black leggings? Links please.

I actually never wore leggings before I got pregnant. I had one lame pair from pea in the pod. But I subsequently found this pair from Blanqi and I absolutely love them.

They are also sold at nordstrom and the actual website usually has a 50% off sale for black friday. I've continued to wear them long after having my baby.

But those are more on the athletic side. But I wear them everywhere when I'm casual, not at work.
Both pants are high maintenance, i.e., special washing and such. But I love them equally. I would never sleep in either. I'm curious to see what other girls suggest because now that I'm a mom, I'm a full legging convert!

I just bought a pair from Kohl’s by simply Vera, I think? Can’t speak to durability, as they are new. But hey are nice and thick which I know is a common complaint

my preference is for zella, but i have a pair of high rise Hue leggings that are very nice too.

I just got a pair of Zella ones at the Nordstrom rack after seeing so many people rave about them so we will see. I do like athletic type ones though.
I have a pair of gap body ones that I am constantly pulling back up, which isn’t so fun.

@youboots: so my holy grail black leggings are a kind that used to be sold at Costco but they don't carry anymore so I literally stalk them on Amazon or eBay.
They are the Felina VELVETY leggings and they are heavenly. They aren't shiny, they aren't fuzzy, they just feel like peach skin and so soft and comfy. They come in a 2-pack and they are cheap (relatively speaking).
They DO tear if you have like sharp long nails - like I have punched a hole in them with a long acrylic nail before. But if you put them on like you were putting on tights its not a problem. And I don't really find them to be all crazy see through either, although I cover my butt.

@yoursilverlining: Yummy by heather thompson who someone told me was a reality tv star?! I have the high-waisted non-maternity ones. love those but both my pairs faded realllly fast. great fit and not see-through though

Costco carries another relatively inexpensive pair (like. $14?) that I also like! Matty M is the brand.

I'm a pretty big fan of the NY&Co yoga leggings. They're definitely not see-through, and hold up reasonably well without any special care. I wear mine under dresses, to the gym, playing on the floor with my toddler and to sleep in and have never gotten a hole or snag. Best thing is that they are often available for $10 on sale, so when I notice some pilling or fading, I just pick up a new pair (usually once per year).
I got some at the Loft outlet that I like too, but they're really long on my 5'2" frame, so I can only wear them with boots.
