I'm dying to run again! DD is 10 weeks and we use the Britax car seat adapter on the double BOB. Do people run with the infant seats? I saw a mom this morning running with her double BOB and she also has the adapter for the Britax but I know her baby is a month older too. I know it's not suggested to run with them in the regular seat until 6-9 months...I'll probably ask the ped but I want to know what others have done.

Well I don't have a BOB, but I took F running in the infant seat adaptor for my jogging stroller for the first time at about 8 weeks. I was on paved path and he was lulled to sleep almost immediately.

I never ran with the adaptor. I waited until he was 6 months old to run in the regular stroller. I was really nervous to run with the adaptor for some reason!

I waited until she was six months old before running with her in the stroller. I don't have an adapter though since my BOB is a 2008 model.

Three weeks, no adapter (tipping risk).
She had a snowsuit on, a head holder thing, and the seat was reclined as far back as it goes.
I showed the set up to her ped, and she was fine with it! She said to go by head control. Once your baby can control their own head, they're fine for the jogger on smooth terrain! -
She was 7 months...that's because I had no running ambition before that, ha!

6 months on smooth pavement. the sidewalks around here are in rough shape, so I waited until she could sit up independently for that. i wouldn't run with the adapter, it seems like it would flip really easily...

I started with the car seat adapter at maybe 3 months? Yes, I know it's not recommended
