My son isn't potty trained yet at 29 months and we don't push it. He will go if he's on the potty but most of the time has not interest to even sit on it. I hoping by his third birthday he's at least day trained.

Whoa. My nephew wasn't until 4/5! I thought boys took awhile!

I potty trained my three boys at the same time. My twins turned three in the middle of it and my older son was 3.5.

I started closer to 3 and a half. It worked best for us. I would say it only took about 2 weeks, 2 long weeks but it was quick I think when looking back

We are waiting until after our holiday travel is done, so it will be right before 3 years. I'm have no reason to rush at this point, and anyone who asks I tell them that and ask why is so important to them. We talk about the potty and underwear a lot and have the training seats and he picked out some underwear, so hopefully it will be an easier transition.

My nephews started training at 2.5, and it was literally a shit storm, so I'm happy to wait. He won't start preschool until next fall, plus I really don't mind diapers.

We're going to probably take a stab at it during our holiday time off in Dec. DS will be 25 months. He's been showing signs the last few months. Telling us when he's pooping, peed a few times in potty, pulls down pants, etc. We're not in a rush, but also want to encourage him since he's showing signs of readiness.

Daycare does potty week at 2 so we'll start with that.

We started a little after 2 years old with the help of our daycare. He's day trained right now. We haven't pulled the trigger on night training since he drinks a ton before bed. The first week was tough, but it's gotten easier. You just need to be more mindful if it's been too long without a potty break or if he's telling you he has to go.

It was closer to 3 years. It only took a weekend, was the simplest thing ever!

my son is 23 months and is just started to get really interested in potty training. it's not consistent, but he does ask every once in a while to go sit on the potty. he's used it twice so far, but we're not pushing it just yet.

We've been doing elimination communication with DS since he was born (he's 18-months). But it was only recently, like in the past 2-3 months, that he's actually started communicating that he needs to poop. He's pretty good about it too. The only times he poops in his diaper are if we don't see him sign that he needs to go. He's definitely not peepee or night-trained, but he's poop trained, if that makes sense.

We tried potty training when my son was 2 and felt he wasn't ready yet so we stopped and didn't push him. Besides I was too exhausted with a newborn then. Now 1/2 year later, he began to show interest and communicated with us more, so we tried again 2 weeks ago and so far so good! It wasn't as bad as I had imagined.
