My grandmother just moved into an old age community. It's her first time ever living alone as my grandfather passed away in October. DH and I sent her flowers to bring a little sunshine into her new apartment. My sister is there now and sent me a photo of the bouquet. I'm horrified at what they sent.
Would you call customer service, or should I let it go?
The top pic is of what arrived and the bottom is what I ordered.

Um yeah, I'd be pissed. I don't see any roses in the one they delivered... looks like you were ripped off.

I've noticed that what's pictured on websites always look better. I would call and complain. If anything they'll give you a refund or discount!

I would complain, I know they ususally say that the pictures can differ somewhat from what arrives, but I don't see a single rose?!

DH sent me flowers once from a big website like that and they were terrible when they came in. I called and told them that the flowers were wilting, etc., and they said they would replace my order or give me a voucher for the cost of the bouquet. I think you should call and give them a chance to fix it. I'm sure your grandma loves them and the thought regardless!

I would call and complain!! From the looks of it, your bouquet isn't even full. I would be really annoyed.

So I called and they can't get a replacement order there until Thursday! She leaves for a cruise on Thursday. I guess I can have them delivered for when she gets back, but that kind of misses the point of ordering flowers for Christmas.

Um, I think the arrangement they sent is a less expensive one than the one you ordered, so I'd definitely call!

I would call. Omg, it's not even close to what you ordered. They sent a cheap bouquet. Sorry you had to experience that! On the upside, I'm sure your gma liked it anyway.

Did you order the upgraded bouquet (the most expensive option)? That's the one they always show in pictures.

So they are sending two dozen roses for the day she gets back and refunding the original order. Not a bad outcome. Hopefully the new roses aren't dead when they get there.

I would have called too. Glad that they are sending her some fresh roses for when she gets back. I am sure she loved the gesture regardless.

@oliviaoblivia: you know, that's happened to me twice recently. I should complain but never think to. I ordered a pretty expensive large arrangement for my friend when she had her baby in the hospital and when I got there to visit her, the arrangement was tiny, no idea how there could be two sizes smaller than the 'large' I ordered, and it was missing lilies and roses from the photo... hmm..
do these places just think you're not going to see the end result? I'm glad you called, I should've
