We used the BreastFlow bottles from First Year (http://www.amazon.com/The-First-Years-Breastflow-Bottle/dp/B001QVG9YS/ref=sr_1_sc_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1383667479&sr=8-3-spell&keywords=breastlfow) and had great success. They were the only ones I found where the nipple was shaped more like my breast.

You may also try leaving the house, sometimes babies will refuse a bottle if momma is around (they can smell us).

Hugs! My best advice is don't stress.

I went through a serious bottle strike with my LO. I spent most of my maternity leave stressing about it and trying to fix it. In the end, LO started daycare at 4 months without being on the bottle but she got it by day 2. Things I wish I had known:

-Don't give LO full bottles. I wasted about 100oz of milk doing this.
-If you're worried about LO not eating call the pediatrician and run your concerns by them. Mine was fine with LO not eating for 9-10 hours on occasion as long as she was offered a bottle and I gave her lots of access to milk before & after. You can go to dinner, sleep in, or whatever. Your LO may be different but mine didn't fuss for her caregivers unless they tried to give her a bottle.
-If your LO has taken a bottle just fine in the past stick with that one (or a few), don't buy every bottle on the market. I own them all. In the end she took the Medela we started with.

When she refuses the bottle, do not nurse until 15-20 mins later. Otherwise she knows if she says no to the bottle, she gets the good stuff.

We struggled with getting R to take a bottle. She refused at her trial run with day care. I was in tears thinking about how she was going to do it. Then the next day, (we took her for another one) and she took it fine. Then the weekend before, we had a bottle boot camp. Everytime it got quicker for her to take the bottle.

Oh and I agree with the advice to just put 1 ounce in the bottle while you are working on it. Nothing worse than the whole struggle and THEN also throwing out that hard earned milk.

@lawbee11: Yep! We offered the bottle and if she wouldn't take it, we would put it down, and then try again in 15 mins. But that was during boot camp when she had to take it cause she was starting day care on Monday full time. We even got her to take it from me by the end of the weekend.

@lawbee11: No the bottle will not connect to your pump, it has a very wide mouth.

PREEMIE dr.brown's nipples!!! They are so tiny and slow flow. My son loved them and it got us through many strikes. Ultimately, I chose Avent as our permanent bottles because dr.brown's leaked a lot, but some people never had a problem with that.

We feed preemie Dr B bottles, and our LC recommended Avent Natural as well. He takes both like a champ!

I second MAM. Worked great for us after struggling for so long.

If you want keep using the tommee tippee ones, maybe try a different flow nipple?

@lawbee11: LO is 3 weeks old and loves the playtex drop in liner bottles. She usually takes at least 1bottle of bm a day if DH is off. She has no trouble going back and forth between the two.

No suggestions, but hope you find something that works! Both of my kids refused bottles at 2 months old.
Dr brown's and TT

Dr. browns (preemie nipples, to start) have been wonderful for our small mouthed girl. I've also heard great things about comotomo.

same exact scenario here! We gave her a bottle when she was a week old, she took it like a champ, takes a pacifier and then we started slacking! We had her 4 month check up today and the doc told me not to have it be a feeding that she cares about (morning or before bed) but to do it in the evening when I cluster feed her before bed. She also said to do it everyday.

when she has taken one in the last few weeks, we have had some success with the Nuk. The weird thing is, she will take a bottle from me but not my husband or my mom. But I also haven't tried leaving the house.
