My friend is getting married in September and her wedding invite says "we kindly request no boxed gifts" so I know they want cash as a wedding gift.

Her bridal shower is next month and she has no registry. She is very shy so I don't think she would like lingerie. I guess I could give her cash/gift card but that seems kinda boring as a shower gift? I usually buy a small houseware item (off a registry) or lingerie for other friends.
