I saw this thing on Pinterest the other day, if you search YouTube videos of 'redneck air conditioner' it'll come up. You hack a styrofoam cooler filled with ice so a fan blows in and there's a pipe where the cooked air comes out. I have a battery operated fan from Amazon that would work, the reviews say ppl bought them at walmart as well since you wouldn't have time to order one. Might work to cool the tent so you have a place to chill when you need to

I got a prescription for Zofran for my flight to Maui today...all was well and no nausea!

Hopefully there is lots of shade. Maybe bring an umbrella just in case and one of those mister fans to keep cool!

I think you'll be okay! Is there somewhere to go swimming to keep cool? I went camping last time I was pregnant around 10 weeks, and it ended up not being too bad! The worst was how often I had to go to the bathroom (just an outhouse there, talk about triggering my gag reflex)! Bring lots of water!

@MrsMccarthy: you'll be fine! i did a 2.5 hour hike up the mountain in Vermont when I was 8 weeks pregnant. Just stay hydrated and take it easy.

It will be fun!! Just bring tons of water and snacks, maybe a hand-held fan and a little face mister/squirt bottle to keep you cool. And besides, you have a great excuse to have your husband do all the dirty work of setting up camp, getting fires going, cooking, etc.
