My kids are always asking me to turn on the light when they have to use the bathroom at night. I guess it makes sense, because the light switch is way higher than they can reach (in the Philippines, light switches are often much higher up than they are in America). But I feel like I'm always getting up in the evening to turn the bathroom lights on and off, and am wondering if there's a better way. Maybe a nightlight...
Can your LO turn the light on in the bathroom?

My 3yo can reach the light easily, but he's pretty tall, about 40inches.

My oldest can. But, he doesn't use the light at night. If he wanted some sort of lighting I would probably just get a night light.

She can if she moves the step stool we keep by the sink. I just try to keep the light on.

Nope, we got a night light and one of those battery powered, push lights that you can mount on the wall.

Because of how they are situated over the counter he can't. The one in the half bath on the main floor he can but usually asks us to anyway.

What about using a back scratcher or an ingenious attachment that turns on the light? Or a head lamp? or a little hand carry lantern?
I just realized LO has never woken up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom! However she can reach now and during the day when she was younger she would just use a stool.

Yes cause she can get on the stool. We got her a remote for her room so all she has to do is press a button.

Yes. But she likes to use the bathroom in the master and doesn't always turn the light off so she wakes me up in the MOTN sometimes!

My four year old can reach the switch if he stands on the toilet lid, but usually he makes me go and turn on the light. He says he's afraid of the dark

She doesn't get up to use it at night but she can reach it. But we have a pretty bright nightlight in there that you could useyhe bathroom by anyway.
