Much, much stricter than most of my friends and family. You would not believe how hard (and expensive!) it has been (in the UK) to find a seat suitable for ERF with my tall and heavy baby boy. My family are all rolling their eyes because he should have FF at nine months. A lot of kids at four are just in regular boosters with no backs. I'm also the only person in my family that knew car seats have expiry dates.

We went to forward facing either right before or right after a year (I can't remember). We had some long road trips ahead of us and I couldn't stand him being alone in the backseat staring out the window for twelve hours!
