Does anyone know how to properly clean the grey polka dotted insert for the B-Safe? Apparently LO's head was sweater than I remembered, and I want to get it clean for LO2. It's not machine washable.

I never knew the rules about no machine washing when I used it, but all I ever did was soak it in it the sink and scrub it with soap, then let it air dry. I hope that was okay!

@Weagle: this is way late but I just happened to be scrolling through the car seat board. I have machine washed our B-Safe insertand laid it out to dry with no problems! Same with pads on the straps.

I've machine washed ours (we have the key fit but I'm sure it's similar) and just let it air dry. It looks good as new!
