Do you have a favorite cloth diaper brand?
There are several out there I'm impressed with from reviews and youtube demos, but I'd like to hear it from you. What brands are your favorites?
Do you use a combination? What's your go-to diaper for all-nighters? Do you prefer a particular type of diaper within the brand?

I'm only in my TWW so I'm not pregnant yet. I really like Flip diapers. They are pocket folds, I think. Saw some good reviews on them.
I heard kissaluvs are fitted diapers that are great for newborns.

I love BumGenius, but we also use Green Mountain Diaper prefolds and love those as well!

My top favorites are Fuzzibunz, Thirsties, and Itti Bitti.

I'm also not pregnant yet, but we're stocking up! I have 3 BG3.0 (pockets) and 3 GroVia covers, with a pkg bio soakers (the disposable insert). We are going to buy some organic inserts for those - or just go with some prefolds for 'em.

I'm still pregnant but my starter stash consists of 4 Best Bottom covers (hybrid), 4 Grovia covers (hybrid), 2 Flip covers (hybrid), 4 Fuzzibunz elites (pockets), 2 Rumparooz (pockets), 2 BumGenius 4.0 (pockets), 2 Happy Heineys (pockets), 1 Itti Bitti (a "snap in one" that is more like a pocket than a hybrid), and 1 Kawaii (pocket).
I figured instead of making my ENTIRE stash be one kind of diaper (since different diapers work better for different babies) I'd just get a variety, lol. Plus, some of those brands run small and others run big so some will be better at the beginning of diapering whereas others will be better later on.
I'll let you know what I think of them once I actually get to use them! haha

Still pregnant--but my stash is mostly Best Bottom diapers, along with some Flip, Thirsties, & Econobums.

I'm so excited. I am going to a showing of cloth diapers tomorrow morning. My husband has given me the go ahead to pick up some to start with overnight.

I'm not voting as I haven't had any experience with them yet, but we've bought bumgenius & fuzzibunz for baby since those always seem to have the best reviews. I want to try oh katy, too, though

We mostly use fuzzibunz and bum genius and really like both.
@pelikila: which style of itti bittis do you use? I've been thinking about trying them but can't decide if I want to try the d'lish or the tutto.

I have these in my rotation right now, still maybe going to try out a few more!
- GroVia Hybrid (love both the snaps and velcro on these)
- BumGenius 4.0 - we might have a bit of a suede cloth sensitivity
- Thirsties Duo Diaper - Love the insert but the size 2 is still really bulky on her at 18 pounds.
- CharlieBanana Sized pockets - just got these to try out but they look really nice. -

@c.sassy: We love them! We started with GMD for the newborn stage because I didn't want to spend too much on a newborn stash and totally got hooked. At almost 9 months we are still loving them!

So after some research, I've registered for BumGenius 4.0s AIOs, Tots Bots Easy Fit (AIO), and Best Bottoms (hybrid).

Based on reviews that sound similar to the ones on this thread, we have built up a stash of half Bum Genius pocket diapers (one-size) and half Fuzzibunz pocket diapers (one-size). Does anyone happen to have an opinion as to which is better between those two brands? I know they're both highly reviewed, but we're planning on buying a few more of whichever one works out better for us once baby arrives.

@skibobrown: I have 12 bumgenius 4.0s and 24 one size Fuzzibunz. From everything I've heard and read, you either love or hate FB. At first I hated them because 1.) they didn't start fitting really well until baby hits 10-12 lbs and before then you may really struggle with leaks no matter what you size them to and 2.) figuring out the size can be a real PITA and you have to be very patient. With all that said, I overall prefer my FB over my BG but for certain situations, the BG will win out. Like with a babysitter, I give them BG because it is fewer snaps and typically harder to mess up if you snap one for them as an example. The three snaps on a FB can be challenging for some people until you do it often enough. For daycare, the teachers reach for the FB more than the BG once they learned how to snap them since we have less issues with leaks if they are snapped correctly. The FB are trimmer so I like their fit better and my baby has skinny thighs so the BG will gape at the leg opening sometimes. The BG are a pain to spray off once your baby starts solids because the flap at the back holds water (it is just the nature of that flap being there that causes it) so you pretty much have to get your hands in there and squeeze it out if you are putting it in the pail and not straight into the wash. With all that said they are both good daytime diapers for us but neither of them are good nighttime diapers for my son and we have to do fitteds and a cover for night.

BG, Blueberry, RaR, Gro-Via (hybrids) and RagaBabe are all my favorites. I will say we use BG 4.0's and RagaBabe the most around here as they fit DS the best.

@pelikila: Ooh, really good to know! The extra adjustability with the elastic on the Fuzzibunz seems like a great idea, but I was also worried that it would take a while to find the right fit between all of the different settings on the elastic bands and the snaps.
There seem to be a lot of OS pocket diaper fans on this thread. Does anyone else have issues with using them as nighttime diapers?

We're planning to use Thirsties with diaper service prefolds. I like that they have gussets, the inner material can be wiped clean for small messes, the option of snaps, only 2 sizes to worry about, and they are reasonably priced. Our local CD store says they are by far the most popular around here, and are also an american made product and the company is very eco-friendly, socially conscious, etc.

@skibobrown: FB did not work for us at all. DS already outgrew them months ago and the no matter what settings you did for the leg elastic they always dug into him. BG have worked so much better for us overall. We also had the same issue with Charlie Banana as FB as they are almost the same design, but if you like FB you might want to check CB out.

@skibobrown: I prefer fitteds with covers overnight to our pocket diapers. LO is a heavy wetter, and when she sleeps for more than 8 hours straight, pockets aren't absorbent enough. I suppose we could double stuff the pockets, but they seem so bulky between LO's legs when double stuffed. Fitteds are more absorbent and seem more comfortable.
