So I think I was the one to suggest LL Bean. I'm also a fan of lands end - a lot, though not all, of their clothing is available in tall. Some of it is a little old lady ish but each season there is more and more I like. They also constantly have awesome coupons.

I also prefer a slightly preppy/classic look.

I have recently become obsessed with Boden. I love the style and the quality is great. Super cute kids clothes too.

I recently found an online "boutique" called Mindy Mae's Market - I'm loving their collection of casual tops. The prices are good and the shipping is always free.

I was just going to suggest Boden, like Mrs D. The quality is awesome! Some of the women's stuff can be a bit older but a lot of it is not. I love love the kids clothes, totally worth the cost in my mind. Nordstrom also carries the kids line, not sure about women's. You can usually find coupon codes though.

Another Boden fan here! When we lived in Europe, I bought tons of dresses from them for
me. I wear them constantly, they wash so well (I always line dry) and are still in great shape after numerous wears. I like that they provide specific sizes and measurements for each garment since I can be up or down a size depending on fabric and cut. I also love their kids clothes, which are super cute and just as high quality as the adult clothes. I would always wait for a sale and then stock up. They have a great return policy too.
