Back Story: I have been having Braxton hicks//contractions since 22 weeks, I am now 31 weeks. A few weeks ago I was admitted into the hospital because they were occurring every three minutes & would not stop after fluids, I was given two doses of medication to stop them which they finally did. I was also checked & swabbed for pre-term labor both shows no signs of preterm labor (thankfully). I still have several Braxton hicks daily, some days worse than others (side note:drink over a gallon of water a day so they are not due to lack of hydration) My doctor said we may start testing me every two weeks for pre-term labor but has not put me on bed rest or anything. I'm just instructed if the contractions happen so many times in a hour to lay down & if they keep on come in to L&D.
So my question is, any of you ladies experience something similar? If so when did you give birth?
I just wonder if me already experiencing all these contractions is a sign I won't make it to 40 weeks. I know every pregnancy is different, I just like to hear others stories & their outcome.
