I'm all settled into L&D and the pitocin is going! Cervix was 3cm and 50% prior to any meds, so hoping things move quickly but of course it's anyone's guess. I'll feel better after I meet the anesthesiologist
Pretty surreal to think that we'll meet our son in this room!

I have my epidural and my OB broke my water, so just resting and hoping that I'm making some progress. About 4cm and 70% a few hours ago, so I hope I'm a little further along next time. Looking like this labor will be longer than my last, but with M I was getting pretty sick and she was much smaller, so no one seems surprised that things went more quickly with her. We'll see! Thanks again for all of the well-wishes!

baby boy (not officially named yet) was born at 6:54 last evening weighing 7lbs 11oz! We're both happy and healthy and grateful for an uncomplicated induction and delivery. My OB even came in from home on her night off because she wanted to be the one to deliver him and helped me through less than 20 minutes of pushing, so I certainly can't complain!
We're tired after a long night of working on BF. Thanks for all of the kind words and support yesterday!
