@Pumpkin Pie: I did wake during the day. I think I stopped around when I went back to work at 6 weeks, although they did not need much waking during the day past maybe two weeks.

I never had to wake DD. I currently try to make sure DS eats at least every 3 hours during the day but that's mostly because he is up so much at night and I am trying to make sure his days and nights aren't mixed up (his weight isn't an issue).

Nooo never!
(Except when DD1 was in the nicu for jaundice/dehydration, but once she came home and I started supplementing the dr said to let her sleep). Both my girls sttn very very young

Nope! Never! I always abided by the the rule that they wouldn't let themselves starve.
