If your baby crawled early, or started pulling up early, did they start walking early as well? I know every baby is different, just curious what everyone else's experiences were. My daughter started crawling at 6 months. She's 7.5 months now, and just started pulling up. I have a feeling she's going to be walking by this summer.

My second didn't crawl early (8 months exactly) but he started pulling up to stand as soon as he could crawl. And a week or so later started crawling up the stairs. He crawled on and climbed on and cruised with all his might. He took his first steps at exactly 11 months and walked more and more and by his first birthday could walk across the room. He walked exclusively just shy of 13 months.
Our first was not an early walker.

Mine learned to crawl and pull up in the same weekend, at around 7 months. She was taking steps by 10 months and fully walking with no trouble by 11. I think babies that want to move find a way.

DD was an early crawler (6 months) and pull-upper (6.5 months). She started walking at 9 months.
DS took longer to crawl. He did the army crawl from 6-8 months, then up on his knees crawling around 8 months. He started pulling up around 7.5 months. He still walked pretty early, around 10-10.5 months.

I'm really curious about this! DD started crawling and pulling up at 5.5 months. I think she'll walk as soon as she can. She does not want to be still.

My 2nd DS was full on crawling at 6 months so I thought for sure he would be an early walker. Nope, took first step around 1 year and wasn't fully walking until 15 months just like his older brother.

My 2nd crawled before five months. She was talking multiple steps at eight months, exclusively walking a week past nine months.
My 1st crawled at 5.5 and was walking exclusively by ten.

Nope I had a super late crawler, didn't start until 9 or 10 months, then started walking early, by 10.5 months

My first didn’t crawl for a long time… I would say he didn’t crawl till 8 months and he didn’t walk till 17-18 months.
My second started army crawling really early (my first never army crawled) at about 3-4 months… it felt like whenever he was on the floor he would try to get somewhere. He didn’t crawl normally till about 10 months though so I thought maybe he would be a late walker too? Then he started bear crawling at 12 months and then he was walking exclusively by 13 months. At almost 15 months now he is completely walking.
For us it seemed like my second one was just more curious and wanted to get to where he wanted to get… which is why he went through so many different types of crawls and started walking a lot earlier. My first didn’t feel a need to get anywhere. Maybe the answer is personality?

Mine army crawled almost exclusively she started around 6.5 mo (I always thought this was average, I'm not remembering). She started real crawling right before she started walking at 10mo.

J started crawling just after 6 months, started pulling-up the next week and was cruising the week after. He took his first steps at just over 9 months and was walking at 10 months - so pretty early

DD crawled between 6-6.5 months too, and walked I think 1-2 weeks before her 1st birthday.

Crawled right at 6 months, a week or two later was pulling up and cruising. Took her first steps at 9 months and has been running ever since!

It's fascinating how different all the timelines and steps and stages are! I agree that it has a lot to do with personality. My kiddo has always been go go go. She was trying to kick off of things as a newborn.

No actually! He started crawling at 6mo or so and then didn't walk till 12.5mo.

Yep! Crawling at 7, pulling to stand and cruising at 8, first steps at 10 months and full on walking by 10.5 months.

Both crawled by 6 mos, walked well by 10.
