LO is 10 days old today and doing great. I'm feeling pretty decent as well, and am dying to get out of the house. Problem is, it is crazy hot here in Texas in July, so walks for the most part are out of the question. The forecast for the next week, however, has highs in the high 80s/low 90s instead of 99, which means in the evening, it gets down to the low 80s.

I'm still a bit nervous about taking her in the heat, though. The sun would be great for getting rid of her remaining jaundice, but I have no idea how to keep her cool, or if I should even have her outdoors for walks this soon. We have a stroller with a sunshade where she can face me, and I think we'd be outside for about 15 mins or so the first time.

Tips on taking baby for her first walk? On keeping her cool in the summer? When did you take your LO for a walk outdoors?
