If you started with an infant seat?
LO 1- She was 7 months and it took her a week to get adjusted. There was a lot of crying and head bobbing involved. 
LO 2- Just switched yesterday....almost 1 and she had no issues!

No, at first I thought he was okay, and then he was pretty whiny and would cry for a few days whenever I strapped him in! It only lasted a few days though!

Switched at 15 months and she LOVED it! It was hanging out in our house for a month or so, and she liked getting in it to sit, so she thought it was pretty funny when she saw it in the car.

Yep. We actually used a convertible in DH's car from very early on, so when we switched it in my car last month, she had no issues.

We have a convertible in my car and the infant in DH's so she goes back and forth depending on which car she's in and it's never been an issue!

Yes, DD loves the convertible so much more than the infant seat! I think she was tired of leaning back so far and can see better in the convertible, so right away there was less fighting to get her into it. We still fight about it, though.

DS1 didn't mind it but had a hard time adjusting. He would throw up every time, and we later realized that it was too reclined back. We added a towel under the seat to make him more up right, and he was much better.

We haven't switched yet (even though I have the 2 seats for our cars) because its so damn convenient if he is sleeping to bring him in and out with the infant seat! I am hoping our transition goes well- waiting for some warmer weather!
