Hi, girls! I've been pumping once a day for s few weeks and I've noticed that sometimes my breast milk can be a different color. I pump both boobs at a time and sometimes one boob's milk is yellowish and the other milk is not. Anyone else experience this or anything similar? Anyone know what it means?

Yep! Happens to me occasionally. I think it has something to do with foremilk/hindmilk. Asked my lactation consultant friend and she said it's totally normal

Yep. The yellow one has more antibodies. You'll find it happens as LO is fighting a cold or another bug.

The food you eat can also have an effect. I had green tinted milk for a few days one time.

Totally normal. Breastmilk can be all different colors. I've seen yellow, green, blue... It has to do with the fat content and antibody levels.

It's normal. As kiddosc said, it can even be green or blue.

Mine was almost always blue!
(it was later suggested that it didn't contain enough fat, so we supplemented with formula here and there)
