Have you checked out Pinterest or Etsy for inspiration? Those are the top two places I start when party planning. Then, once I have more of a plan I do Google image searches for more specific things if needed.

I usually just cut out the shapes and glue on letters, ill print them out at home. Then I'll hang twine and use clothes pins to attach the triangles/circles/whatever you decide. It's pretty quick and easy that way.
