Does anyone have an Instax camera? I am thinking about purchasing one and am not sure if the price I am seeing on Amazon (around $56) is decent. Are there other options?

My son discovered these at his aunt’s wedding 2 weeks ago and he got to take one home! He spent literally the entire wedding (outside of his ring bearer duties) playing photographer. He took great pics and people loved it! Film is crazy expensive so we actually bought him a poloroid/digital camera for his birthday. It has dual functions. I think he’ll like it.

I have one, but I rarely allow the kids to use it because film is so, so expensive! Like $1/shot, and my kids aren't old enough to understand we don't need 12 selfies in a row or 12 pictures of one flower. They are fun, but I basically never find film on sale so it isn't used much. I once bought a 4 pack of film for like $30 and they used it all in one day while I was out, so I had to hide it, lol.

I have the Instax wide format camera. Love it! Use it mostly to document special occasions and holidays. Cutting down the Xmas tree, holidays, etc. it’s ncie to have.

Not sure on pricing because mine is older but you can find discounts on film at Costco! I also had to hide mine from my kids or I’d end up with $10 in photos of my side table.
