LOs clothing gets so destroyed by crafts/activity/food that it pains me to spend lots of money on her wardrobe. I'm glad she is at least getting some more longevity out of her clothing now, compared to when everything was being switched out every few months when she was a baby.

We've buy almost all of her clothing from thrift stores and re-sale shops around and I'm really glad we have done that. I also buy almost all of my clothing secondhand these days. It saves money, plus it is better for the environment. We live near a very affluent area so the second hand shops have really good quality, barely used items for the taking.

I watched a documentary called The True Cost yesterday and it has just firmed up my desire to continue with the trend of getting her stuff second hand. I hope to keep it up for now, before she's a teenager with a stronger opinion on it.

Have you seen The True Cost? Does anyone else try to buy clothing for their LO(s) secondhand?
