We have a treadmill at home that I've never used. I really need to start working out, and it's so cold out, maybe I should just start running on the treadmill every morning.
Do you exercise at home? What do you do and how often?

I started playing just dance Disney with my kids. It's not a super intense work out but it's better than nothing.

We have a dreadmill in the basement and when I'm well (in one week I've twisted my knee and had my wisdom teeth removed, ick!) I do use it quite a bit! I'd say 3-5 times/week (not always running, but I try to walk on my off days from running) and I have a few workout videos, but I also do my own cardio and strength without them if I'm feeling like a badass ;)

I plan to after the baby's born and once I feel ok enough to exercise again... probably the Insanity DVD's and Jillian Michaels - I figure it's the only way I'll be able to squeeze in exercise for the time being. We don't own any exercise equipment besides some free weights.

I really lack motivation to work out at home, I need someone to push me.

I used to! I loved working out to Wii's EA Active: More Workouts. It was got me into shape for my wedding! I need to quit being so lazy and utilize our Wii and Kinect again!

We have P90X and I do those on occasion. I have free weights and I'll use those to do squats and do some push ups and sit ups.

@babyjmama: Did you mean to call it a "dreadmill"? If not, great freudian slip. If so, great name for it!

@MaisyMay: Haha yeah, it's ALWAYS been the dreadmill for me :) I love to run outside, but we live in the midwest where we only have about 4 months of ideal outdoor running. :)

We have an elliptical and I've used it when my schedule is crazy. I haven't used it in awhile because I've been doing crossfit instead, but my husband still uses it regularly. I imagine I will use it when the baby is here and I'm not sure I can get to the gym. Or just sneak an extra short session in while I watch tv.

Nope - I do better with a set time at the gym. I walk with the dog (and hopefully LO when she's here!) but I don't really count that.

We have a spinning bike that I rarely use. I find if I'm working out at home I'm too easily distracted and quit a lot sooner. I get a much better workout if I actually go to the gym.

Now that LO has arrived, I'm using our treadmill more because I can jump on it while she naps, and she also thinks it's pretty funny to watch me from her bouncy chair!

I used to. I have about 10 different dvds (a lot of Jillian Michaels) that I would rotate through 3-4 times a week. But then I started crossfitting and now I just do that and some prenatal yoga. I imagine I'll probably go back to the dvds at some point during my mat leave, as I may not be able to afford crossfit membership for the whole year that I'm off from work.
