I haven't had a physical in a long time, but when I had a fertility workup with an RE when we were ttc, they tested for HIV, which I'd never been tested for, and it REALLY freaked me out. I mean, I've been with my husband for 5 years but I thought what IF it was possible that I had it from before him and just didn't know yet. I am such a Drama Queen!!!! Utterly ridiculous! But I really did think about it! It felt good to know I was clear!

Nope. DH and I have only had sex with each other.

Every year when I get my physical. There are certain stds that can be dormant for years before they actually show up on a screening, like HPV & HIV. DH & I we not saints before we met...

No, I am married and only have sex with DH and he (better) only have sex with me. I have no reason to think, at this point, I would have an STD. I think I was tested during pregnancy though.

I don't get phyiscals, but my ob did an HIV test on me twice when I was pregnant and I was like uhhh...what the heck. I didn't question in because I didn't notice until after it had been done twice, but I was like why in the world...

Not anymore. We both got tested, called Peace of Mind, before we became intimate. That was our last STD and HIV test and I'm happy to say we passed (failed) with flying colors!

I've had HPV in the past so I get tested every 6 months to check my cells since I do have low grade abnormal cells. Which I've had for 5 years. I've gotten tested for everything a few times since being with DH and have always been negative for everything but my HPV.
