Ours is right across the street from BRU - what a coincidence
I found BBB to have higher end items and the staff was much more knowledgeable about products (strollers, car seats, etc.). But BRU tends to be a bit cheaper. BRU is also better for returns.

We have a couple in the area, but they are all 45 min to an hour away, not as convenient to us as BRU. In our experience, Buy Buy Baby has much better customer service, but more expensive items and not as much selection in lower price points.

Yes, it's about 15 minutes away and has been open for a few years.

Yep! I've actually not been to a Babies R Us even though there's one close by too... Since I did my register with BBB.

Never been to one and I dislike the name, tbh. I don't think I could shop there for that reason alone (it sounds like you are saying goodbye to a baby)

We have one and I love it - its so clean, organized and carries higher end brands. Plus they take bed bath and beyond coupons, which I always have a ton of!

@LindsayInNY: really? I have never once had an issue with returns at BBB. I've even returned things that were purchased from amazon there (shh)...

@Foodnerd81: Maybe it's my store or area? It's almost like Target. The policy says if they can't find a record of your purchase via credit card or registry and you don't have a receipt, they deduct 20% from the price!

@LindsayInNY: hmm, I never thought about the 20% thing but I want to say when we returned some a&a blankets they gave me the full price. We exchanged them for a different set and used a coupon, though, so maybe I just didn't notice.

Yes, it's about 15 minutes away. I prefer Buy Buy Baby over Babies R Us. I think they have a better selection with more higher end options. Plus, the store layout is better.
