I don't, but I've thought about it. I would love her name in a really pretty, small cursive font somewhere (Harper). I think it would be pretty. But I can't think of where I would put it. I like it when people have tiny tattoos on the inside of their wrists, like where your watch goes, but I'm in sales/PR and I don't really want it to be visible to just anyone or look unprofessional to clients.

I have my oldest LO's name on my shoulder with a halo over the first letter.
I have yet to get my youngest LO's name but plan too in the near future.

Yes I do. I have DS's name and birthdate on my lower back in a cute script. When this LO is born I will likely get another tattoo symbolic to him/her. I am think somewhere on my ribcage.

I have thought about this, but I already have two (one on foot & one on small of back) and I don't know where else I would put it that would be logical. I also like the wrist ones, however won't do it as I like to be able to hid them easily. I thought about on my other foot as that is my favorite, but don't want to look too busy/trashy. So we will see.

i don't have a LO yet, but i plan on getting one in honor of becoming a mother, maybe not one for each LO though.

sailors got swallow tattoos when they had logged a certain number of miles at sea to commemorate their journey and they said when they got close to shore the swallows would come to the ship to bring them home again. i'm not a sailor =) but i love the meaning behind it. i have one already that i got to represent a journey in my life, and i'll get another once i become a mama, because to me, that is the ultimate journey and my children will always bring me home.

@regberadaisy: No it didn't hurt to bad. I have 3 tattoos 2 on my lower back and 1 on my wrist. I would say my wrist was the most painless of all 3 but they were all very tolerable.

No LO yet, but hubby and I have thought about this. Hubby will for sure, I'm still debating. Plus, I wouldn't know what to get!

@krsmall: the one on my wrist didn't hurt at all! You should go for it!

I am planning on getting one next week, from my favorite childhood book. "...as long as i'm living my baby you'll be." I am getting it on the inside of my forearm. I have this book and plan on reading it lots of times to LO too!

And @regerberadaisy, don't worry about the pain too much. I have seven tattoos and they have all been bearable. Nothing compared to childbirth!!! You can do it!
