So smart!

I don't! So so so smart indeed. I'll usually have lots of new things with tags lying around so I'll just throw those in a gift bag if I need a back up gift!

Wow, you're good! I have a necklace I bought for a friend and I ended up giving her something else, so I have that laying around. I also have gifts that I'm planning on giving to specific people.... but if needed could probably be used for someone else.

I don't. But I have a friend that has a ton of toys in her cellar, for when her kids go to birthday parties.

So smart! I love to bring a little something when we are invited for dinner (I don't like to bring wine) or for emergency gifts...I gotta get a small gift closet started. I like to receive things I can use up, so candles, lotion, flavored olive oil, some baby gifts, paper and cards.

I have a garage sale pile, does that count? Kidding. I buy things when I find them on clearance or a really good sale like candles, lotion sets, tea towel sets, books, journals, etc. and keep them with my gift wrapping stuff. At Christmas time I always, always, always make sure to keep a stash of pre-wrapped gifts under the tree. I keep them there that way it's less obvious that I forgot. And I keep a stash of Christmas cards/gift tags and a pen under the tree in a basket so I can personalize the gift. My go-to extra Christmas gift is some kind of chocolate or candle with a gift card attached to it. I buy gift cards to places I know we will use that way the leftovers don't go to waste and I get 4x fuel points by buying gift cards.
