I try to be really thoughtful, but it's harder with some people than others! It's harder for me to buy for the men in my family with the exception of DH

I'm horrible. I tend to gift people what I think they should have. Maybe if I paid more attention to people I would select gifts they like.

I try to be really thoughtful and pay attention to what the person likes. Sometimes it is really hard though.

I used to be better but I don't shop as much now. Now I want to order everything on amazon.

For close friends and family, I like to think I'm a pretty good gift giver. For anyone else, I usually stress myself out trying to come up with a great gift and end up getting them a gift card instead.

I totally gift unicorn and kittens. Homemade quilts, that kind of stuff. But it totally depends on the recipient, how well I know and like them, etc.

I am a HORRIBLE gift giver. DH always makes fun of me for it. I always try to think of something thoughtul or special and when it comes time for it, I just run out to the nearest store and grab whatever I see. For 3 years now I've pulled the "lets just go somewhere and YOU can pick out your gift DH!" anddd we never end up going lol

I'm pretty bad. I try to get a thoughtful gift and get stressed out and then end up getting a gift card for them, lol

I *think* I am a good gift giver. I hate to waste money on something someone won't like, so I put a lot of thought into it.

I love buying gifts and usually try to make them fit a theme. I do put a lot of pressure on myself though and get upset if I don't find anything good and end up with something generic.

Its a compliment i receive often. I am a good and thoughtful gift giver. I can always find something thats "perfect" for someone. Its something i take great pride in!

This is why my family exchange wish lists with each other, so if we get stuck coming up with something, we know we will at least get them something they want!

I used to put a lot more thought and effort into gift giving than I do now. I once tracked down a 50-yr old, mint in box, die-cast toy that was made by a company long closed down, owned by a grandpa this person never got to meet.

For DH, one of the first gifts I got him was an embossed brass box from 1914 (he was interested in old wars and this was issued in WWI). The initial on it matched his name. I put playing cards that were replicas of old posters from WWII with a matching comic issued during Christmas.

Now he gets a matching apron with DD with their initials on it. On sale. Lol.

Nope, terrible. I can usually do my sister and mom, but DH's family always just asks for cash, so that's what we do for them.

I'm better at finding things on a random day than when I actually need a present though.

I'm a terrible, terrible gift giver! I'm a great wrapper - bows and ribbons and all sorts - but the contents are usually completely random or utterly crap. I know this is a cop-out excuse but I just don't have time to shop.
