I pat on the back, and work my way up - haha guess it's from getting those burps out! Was surprised to see in another thread that booty patting is a thing. Maybe I've been doing it wrong all along!

Either one! The booty is padded, though so that's my go-to if I'm worried I'm patting too hard.

Booty! I worked with lots of newborns, and they all like the booty pat! I usually rubbed Sadie's back to burp her - seemed to work better.
