My 2 month old squirms so much at night that she travels in her crib and sometimes bumps her face on the bars and wakes/cries even though we set her down in the center. Is that normal? My older daughter we would put her down and she would be in the exact same place hours later, even once she could roll/crawl/etc. so it seems crazy to me.

@karenbme: my kids both did this! I was amazed by how much they could wiggle to move.

Yes. Both of my kids did this. If they aren't sleeping because of it, you could switch to a pack and play for awhile? Then if they hit their head on the side, it's that soft mesh instead of the hard crib?

@karenbme: My 3rd baby did this! I would say it can be normal. I propped mine up against the bassinet. He was in a small one since we were moving. It may be because there is space in the crib etc… maybe switch to a smaller space like the PP mentioned??!

I definitely had a wiggler too! We did a pack n play at the beginning and then ultimately we actually moved to a floor mattress in a safe room instead of a crib. I know that’s not the most popular option but it worked for us!
