I usually don't and they go straight into the trash or recycle bin. I just tossed a few Jehovah's Witness, mortgage refinance and solar panel pamphlets.

I read them to make a point not to use them. Our house was broken into this summer and the police speculate that it was likely someone using flyers/door to door sales as a tactic to see if anyone is home and to scope out the house. Evidently it is fairly common so I simply refuse to use any one who uses that sales tactic.
