A few Freshmen girls at the school where I work were talking about the first person who thought to milk a cow and drink it. Then they moved on to breastfeeding by saying that babies drink milk so it was a logical thing. Then one of the girls says "I will never, ever do that. My baby will starve before I feed them that way". It struck me as odd because to me it is so natural. I saw all of my younger sisters be breastfed and I never even thought twice about it.

Do you remember learning about breastfeeding when you were younger? Did you think it was gross? When do you think we expect young women to learn about it, when they get pregnant only?
