We currently rent. We're never owned before, so we have nothing to compare it to as far as preference, but one day we would like to try our hand at owning (maybe start off with a condo - just gotta save for that down payment!!).

We own, and I prefer it that way! We're pretty settled into the city we currently live and work in and plan to stay here long term. We bought with incredibly low interest rates too.

We own! It's been pretty much ingrained in both of us by our parents our whole lives to own. I prefer it that way for sure, but sure hate when we get the tax bills (and a bunch of additional CA State Tax "Assessments"!)

We own, and I much prefer it to renting. The money we pay is going into ownership (well, eventually), we can do whatever we want to the house without having to ask permission, and if something breaks, yeah, we have to pay for it ourselves, but we can do it on our terms and at our speed without having to wait around for somebody else to get it done. Plus I like that we're not going to be on edge every year wondering, should we stay, should we go, will they let us stay, etc.
