This morning I let my daughter play a game on the tablet while I got their backpacks ready. My son (the oldest) tricked her into picking a game that was too hard for her (a math app), and then he "helped" her by playing the game for her.

I'm sure she didn't mind (in fact she was having fun), but I feel like it's a bad precedent to encourage for the eldest. So I said something to him about how I knew what he was doing (and to give her a turn), but let them finish their game in peace.

Never sure if that's the right way to handle it... do you step in if your older kids are tricking your younger ones?
