Please distract me from eating this entire loaf of banana nut bread I just pulled out of the oven
We just bought our first home and I was thinking of taking this 2nd loaf of banana bread over to our new neighbors who have been super sweet to us since we've been here!
Have you ever received or given any goodies to new neighbors? Any recipe recommendations in case the second loaf doesn't make it

That's really nice of you! We've moved twice and neither time did we take over anything to our new neighbors. We did make it a point to try and catch them out and about to introduce ourselves though.

I totally do this any time we get new people on the street! In fact, the most recent people I took a cake two (a little stale, unfortunately, because I kept missing them at home) have a son E's age and she was SUPER nice and hopefully something comes of it! She offered to bring some food by sometime (they own a chain of Chinese restaurants!)
I usually take something like brownies/cake/banana bread, too!

I do when we have new people on the street or when one of the neighbors is having surgery or a baby or something. I usually do banana bread or brownies. Sometimes I'll be inspired to do something seasonal. I took a blackberry cobbler to one neighbor this summer and did pumpkin snicker doodles for a family that moved in last fall. (Mainly because I love them and wanted to eat some myself. 
)

We haven't had the opportunity to yet, but when we moved into our house a year ago 2 of our neighbors brought us cookies and I thought it was so sweet! I definitely want to pay it forward to new neighbors! I'd probably do some sort of loaf bread/cake or cookies.
